Whole foods is my go to when I want to get together with a friend of mine for lunch. They have the yellow fin tuna in the deli with a pretzel roll and it is a great quick lunch.
I tend to go to Whole Foods more when I am entertaining. I can always count on them to have what I am looking for, and usually a lot higher quality than other stores. Also when I am a visiting someone I will stop by to pick up a dessert.
Also, jealous that you always get to go to all these sneak peeks and previews :)
I think this is a great use of the former Borders space - wonder if Whole Foods is looking into a downtown Sac location as well. With all sorts of storefronts available & the need for a grocery store downtown it would be a great addition to the 'hood.
